Hi! I am María Luján García
Economist | Python · SQL · ML · Pandas · Data Analyst
A little bit about myself
I'm from San Juan, a small (but mighty) city in Argentina. I recently graduated in Economics from Universidad Católica de Cuyo, where I currently teach Microeconomics and Mathematical Economics (Dynamics).
I'm passionate about micro theory, which led me to casually contribute to discussions on Stack Exchange just for fun.
I’ve also worked at the provincial Statistical Institute rebuilding databases, automating CPI analysis, and making Excel slightly less painful. I enjoy turning repetitive tasks into Python scripts—some of which you can find on GitHub.
Soon, I’ll be joining the MSc in Economics at the University of Pisa. I got into evolutionary economics thanks to a very enthusiastic professor, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
